VIDA, NATUREZA, LITERATURA E LÍNGUAS AMERICANAS NA REFLEXÃO DE JOSÉ DE ALENCAR
O escritor brasileiro José de Alencar (1829-1877), inserido no movimento romântico, ao refletir sobre sua prática literária, teceu várias ideias ao redor da literatura na América, da diversidade das línguas e da busca de linguagens apropriadas para expressar e representar o Novo Mundo, suas formas de vida, sua natureza e suas histórias. Em cartas, prefácios, posfácios e pós-escritos, referiu à escola americana ou indianista, às Américas, portuguesa, espanhola e inglesa, principalmente ao atrelar aspectos como: natureza e cultura, língua, linguagem, história, nacionalidade e independência política e cultural. Busca-se debruçar sobre alguns aspectos de tal pensamento e ainda indicar certas facetas da recepção crítica de sua obra por meio de escritos que remetem à America, como do português Manoel Pinheiro Chagas e do venezuelano Juan Vicente Gonzáles.

Abstract:
The Brazilian writer José de Alencar (1829-1877), inserted in the romantic movement, when reflecting on his literary practice, wove several ideas around the literature in America, the diversity of languages and the search for appropriate languages to express and represent the New World, its ways of life, its nature and its stories. In letters, prefaces, posts and postscripts, he referred to the American or Indianist school, to the Americas, Portuguese, Spanish and English, mainly by linking aspects such as: nature and culture, language, language, history, nationality and political and cultural independence . It seeks to examine some aspects of such thinking and also to indicate certain aspects of the critical reception of his work through writings that refer to America, such as the Portuguese Manoel Pinheiro Chagas and the Venezuelan Juan Vicente Gonzales.
