VIABILIDADE ECONÔMICO-FINANCEIRA: GERAÇÃO DE ENERGIA FOTOVOLTAICA
O objetivo da pesquisa é verificar a viabilidade econômico-financeira de instalação de uma usina de energia solar fotovoltaica. Para estimar a capacidade de produção e os fluxos de caixa associados ao investimento, foram considerados os dados de um minigerador e o perfil de consumo do campus Aterrado (UFF), ambos no município de Volta Redonda-RJ. Os resultados mais relevantes indicam que a economia projetada com a instalação da minigeradora de energia solar fotovoltaica viabiliza o projeto porque o payback de 7,22 anos está abaixo da vida útil do equipamento, o VPL de R $ 170.789,50 é positivo e a TIR 15,41 % é maior que o custo de capital de 12,35% usado como referência neste trabalho.

Abstract:
The objective research is to verify the economic and financial feasibility of installing a plant for photovoltaic solar energy. To estimate the production capacity and the cash flows associated with the investment, data from a mini power generator and the consumption profile of the Aterrado campus (UFF), both in the municipality of Volta Redonda-RJ, were considered. The most relevant results indicate that the projected savings with the installation of the solar photovoltaic energy mini-generator plant makes the project viable because the 7.22 year payback is below the useful life of the equipment, the NPV of R$ 170,789.50 is positive and IRR 15.41% is greater than the 12.35% cost of capital used as a reference in this work.
