VELOCIDADE DO SAQUE E DA DEVOLUÇÃO DE SAQUE NO TÊNIS DE CAMPO: COMPARAÇÃO ENTRE PONTOS DECISIVOS E PONTOS COMUM
A presente pesquisa trata-se de um estudo sobre o posicionamento do saque e devolução de saque em situações de break points e game points de partidas de tênis, tendo como objetivo verificara a variação de velocidade do saque e da devolução de saque. A análise foi feita a partir do rastreamento computacional de 8 jogos oficiais de tênis de nível Challenger no software DVideo®, e foi realizado na bola durante o saque (posição do sacador e primeiro quique na área de saque), no posicionamento do devolvedor no momento da devolução (contato da raquete com a bola) e após a devolução (quique na quadra da devolução). Foi realizado scout dos jogos relacionando os pontos ganhos e perdidos com o tipo de ponto (ponto decisivo ou comum) e a velocidade da bola para o saque e devolução. Para a compreensão e discernimento das variáveis obtidas e para análises estatísticas foi utilizado o programa Octave®. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que não houve diferença significativa tanto na velocidade de saque como na velocidade de devolução de saque, quando comparados entre pontos comuns e decisivos.

Abstract:
The present research is a study about the positioning of the serve and return of serve in situations of break points and game points of tennis matches, aiming to verify the variation of the speed of the serve and the return of serve. The analysis was based on the computational tracking of 8 official Challenger tennis matches in DVideo® software and was performed on the ball during the service (serving position and first bounce in the service area), in the position of the returner at the moment of the return (racket contact with ball) and after return (bounce on court). Scouting of the games was made relating the points won and lost with the type of point (decisive or common point) and the speed of the ball for service and return. For understanding and discerning the variables obtained and for statistical analysis, the Octave® software was used. The results showed that there was no significant difference in both serve speed and serve return speed when compared between common and decisive points.
