Abstract: Sanitary sewage is fundamental to improve the population’s life quality and preserving the environment. The importance of Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) and Wastewater Pumping Stations (WWPS) is highlighted for carrying out adequate pumping and treatment, in order to meet all parameters and recognized guidelines in laws, and technical standards for the disposal of treated effluent in water bodies or even for reuse. The operation of these units must be effectively programmed and supervised, aiming to mitigate negative environmental impacts and protect human life. Therefore, it is necessary to plan, monitor activities, interventions and store information to ensure operational efficiency and standardization procedures, as well as reducing costs with equipment maintenance as a result of cleaning services in the units. The Companhia Pernambucana de Saneamento (COMPESA) is monitoring the maintenance, cleaning and operation services of WWTP's and WWPS's in the municipalities of Tacaimbó and Sanharó in Pernambuco which are part of the Regional Management of the Ipojuca Business Unit, recording information in the Integrated Sanitation System Services Management (GSAN) with the aim of improving the operational monitoring of these units, as well as propose preventive and corrective actions. By carrying out this study, it was possible to observe a considerable increase in the number of services performed by the teams.
