UTILIZAÇÃO DO MÉTODO OWAS NA ANÁLISE POSTURAL DO CARREGAMENTO DE SACOS DE CIMENTO EM UMA EMPRESA DE MATERIAIS DE CONSTRUÇÃO
Fazer suas atividades em um ambiente que lhe proporcione total
segurança é essencial não só para que o trabalhador possa ter a sua vida
assegurada e facilitada, mas também como fator importante em se tratando da
eficiência e produtividade em um sistema. O trabalhador do setor de serviços na
construção civil está exposto a diversas situações onde sua segurança não está
inteiramente assegurada, implicando também em desmotivação e insatisfação no
trabalho. Diante disso, o presente estudo vem apresentar uma análise feita sob a
ótica da ergonomia e segurança no trabalho em uma empresa no setor de vendas
de materiais construção civil na cidade de Sumé - PB. Para tanto foram feitas
visitas aos postos de trabalho a fim de se fazer uma análise de postura dos
colaboradores no setor de carregamento de mercadorias, por meio da utilização
ferramentas, ao aplicar o método de análise ergonômica OWAS (Ovako Working
Posture Analysing System). A bibliografia consultada serviu de esteio à análise de
resultados, proporcionando uma visão mais acurada sobre riscos impostos àqueles
trabalhadores, e a obtenção de resultados, tais como a urgência de análise e
aplicação técnicas de otimização postural na atividade. Por fim, verificou-se que
existem algumas correções ou alterações no posto de trabalho a serem aplicadas a
fim de minimizar os efeitos danosos à saúde dos funcionários do setor.

Abstract:
Doing your activities in an environment that provides you with complete
security is essential not only for the worker to have his life assured and facilitated,
but also as an important factor when it comes to efficiency and productivity in a
system. The worker in the construction services sector is exposed to several
situations where his safety is not fully assured, also implying demotivation and job
dissatisfaction. Therefore, the present study presents an analysis made from the
perspective of ergonomics and safety at work in a company in the sector of sales of
construction materials in the city of Sumé - PB. For this purpose, visits to the work
stations were carried out in order to carry out a posture analysis of the employees in
the cargo loading sector, through the use of tools, when applying the OWAS (Ovako
Working Posture Analysis System) ergonomic analysis method. The bibliography
consulted served as a basis for the analysis of results, providing a more accurate
view of the risks imposed on those workers, and obtaining results, such as the
urgency of analysis and application of postural optimization techniques in the
activity. Finally, it has been found that there are some corrections or changes in the
workplace to be applied in order to minimize the harmful effects to the health of
employees in the sector.
