UTILIZAÇÃO DE PLANTAS MEDICINAIS: NA PERCEPÇÃO DE UMA LOCALIDADE NO SUL DO BRASIL
Pesquisa qualitativa, que objetivou
conhecer a percepção dos moradores da
localidade do Distrito de Santo Antão, na
regiao sul do Brasil, sobre o uso de plantas
medicinais. Para a produção dos dados foi
utilizada a entrevista com 14 moradores, no
período de outubro e novembro de 2016,
sendo interpretadas pela análise categorial
de conteúdo. Os resultados evidenciaram
a intensa utilização do uso de diversas
plantas, com propriedade curativa, não sendo
reconhecidas como sendo remédio, também a
tradição oral desses conhecimentos. Conclui-se
que a utilização de plantas com propriedades
curativas implica em uma melhora na qualidade
de vida, com baixo custo, autonomia no acesso
e na escolha do seu uso.

Abstract:
Qualitative research, which aimed
to know the perception of the residents of the
district of Santo Antão, in the southern region
of Brazil, about the use of medicinal plants. For
the production of the data was used to interview
with 14 residents in the period of October
and November 2016, being interpreted by the
category analysis of content. The results showed
the intense usage of several plants with curative
property, not being recognized as medicine oral
tradition of that knowledge. It is concluded that
the use of plants with healing properties imply
an improvement in the quality of life, with low
cost, access and autonomy in the choice of your
use
