UTILIZAÇÃO DE INDICADORES DE AVALIAÇÃO DA ASSISTÊNCIA FARMACÊUTICA RELACIONADOS AO USO RACIONAL DE MEDICAMENTOS EM UM SERVIÇO DE FARMÁCIA DO MUNICÍPIO DE MACEIÓ – AL
O medicamento, apesar do custo
elevado, quando utilizado adequadamente,
é também a terapêutica mais custo-efetiva.
O objetivo desta pesquisa foi estabelecer os
principais indicadores de avaliação de resultado
da Assistência Farmacêutica relacionados ao
Uso Racional de Medicamentos a partir da
avaliação das prescrições dispensadas pelo
Serviço de Farmácia do Centro Municipal
de Saúde da Pitanguinha, em Maceió-AL.
Trata-se de um estudo transversal de caráter
quantitativo, que teve como fonte de informação
as prescrições dispensadas pelo Serviço de
Farmácia do Centro Municipal de Saúde da
Pitanguinha no período de setembro a novembro
de 2013. Foram analisados alguns indicadores
da Assistência Farmacêutica relacionados ao
Uso Racional de Medicamentos, com ênfase
naqueles ligados à prescrição. Os dados foram
tabulados através do Programa Microsoft Office
Excel 2007. A análise descritiva dos dados foi
realizada através da medida de distribuição tipo
frequência utilizando o programa Epi Info versão
3.5.3. Foram avaliadas 8183 prescrições,
obtendo-se uma média de 2,3 medicamentos
por receita. A maioria deles (96,05%) faz
parte da Relação Municipal de Medicamentos
Essenciais (REMUME) e 86, 03% foram
prescritos pelo nome genérico. Apenas 967
(11,80%) receitas estavam completas quanto
aos critérios avaliados. Apesar de a maioria
dos prescritores prescreverem priorizando os
medicamentos disponíveis na rede municipal
de saúde e com a denominação genérica,
ainda faz-se necessário um trabalho educativo
quanto à importância da elaboração da receita
de forma legível e completa para contribuir com
Uso Racional dos Medicamentos.

Abstract:
Medicines, despite their high cost, when used properly are also the most
cost-effective therapy. The goal of this research was to establish the main indicators
of evaluation of the outcomes of Pharmaceutical Services related to the Rational Use
of Medicines from evaluation of the prescriptions dispensed by the Pharmacy Service
of the Pitanguinha Municipal Health Center, in Maceió-AL. It is a cross-sectional
quantitative study. The data was provided by the Pharmacy Service of the Pitanguinha
Municipal Health Center, from September to November 2013. Some indicators of the
Pharmaceutical Services were related to the Rational Use of Medicines, with emphasis
on those related to prescriptions. The data was tabulated through the Microsoft Office
Excel 2007. The descriptive analysis of the data was performed through the frequency
distribution measure using the Epi Info program version 3.5.3. 8183 prescriptions were
evaluated, and an average of 2.3 medications per prescription was obtained. Most of
them (96.05%) are part of the Municipal List of Essential Medicines (REMUME) and
86.03% were prescribed by the generic name. Only 967 (11.80%) of the prescriptions
were complete in relation to the evaluated criteria. Thus, we conclude that although
most of the prescribers prioritize medicines available at the municipal health system
and with the generic name on prescriptions, it is still necessary an educational work
on the importance in developing the prescription legibly thoroughly to contribute the
Rational Use of Medicines.
