UTILIZAÇÃO DE ALIMENTADORES DE AUTO-DEMANDA: UMA REVISÃO E POTENCIAL USO PARA PEIXES AMAZÔNICOS.
A alimentação de organismos aquáticos sempre foi um “dilema” para pesquisadores e produtores, visto que não é possível disponibilizar o alimento como é feito para animais terrestres, permitido o uso mais homogêneos dos nutrientes durante a fase de alimentação. A implementação de alimentadores de auto-demanda “self feeders” na alimentação de peixes, apresenta uma alternativa inovadora, pois permite aos peixes regular o consumo pelo horário que o peixe aciona os alimentadores. A presente revisão tem o objetivo de descrever o funcionamento do sistema de autoalimentacao e discutir sobre a aplicabilidade e viabilidade do mesmo e seu uso para espécies de peixes amazônicas.

Abstract:
The implementation of self-feeding feeders in fish feed presents a viable alternative for the best nutrition of fish in aquaculture systems, since this technique allows fish to regulate and reduce feed waste, providing food on schedule That the fish wants to feed, consuming the consumption and the productive indexes, since, with the greater number of feeds during the day, the nutrient digestibility indexes are optimized, positively influenced the nutrient efficiency in the animal metabolism. Thus, the use of feeders opens up new perspectives in aquaculture with emphasis on feeding strategies, promoting food planning in relation to preference and nutritional behavior, as well as increasing efficiency in aquaculture management and discuss the applicability and feasibility of the same and its use for species of Amazonian fish.
