UTILIZAÇÃO COMBINADA DA SIMULAÇÃO DE EVENTOS DISCRETOS E O PLANEJAMENTO DE EXPERIMENTOS NA OTIMIZAÇÃO DO LAYOUT DE UMA EMPRESA
A simulação de eventos discretos está presente em diversas aplicações na área de engenharia de produção como fazer previsões, identificar gargalos, ajustar ou modificar layouts. Neste trabalho, a simulação de eventos discretos será combinada à metodologia de planejamento de experimentos, que visa variar sistematicamente os níveis dos fatores experimentais, para localizar os parâmetros que melhor se adequem ao processo. Essa abordagem combinada será aplicada à linha de produção de uma empresa do ramo de pedras ornamentais, a fim de reduzir o lead time do processo e, consequentemente, aumentar a produtividade da empresa.

Abstract:
The discrete events simulation is present in various applications in making as production engineering area forecasts, identify bottlenecks, adjust or modify layouts. This work, the simulation of discrete event will be combined to experiments planning methodology that vary visa systematically levels of experimental factors to locate the parameters best suited process. This combined approach will be applied to a production line company stones ornamental branch, to reduce lead time process and therefore increase productivity company.
