Abstract: The Amazon region occupies a large part of the national territory; however, its economic contribution is very low compared to its size. This occurs because most of the region's economy is based on the exploitation of natural resources, and one of the greatest challenges is how to exploit these resources sustainably, with greater efficiency and less destruction. Within this context, the state of Rondônia has stood out in fish farming, particularly in the production of Tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum) and Pirarucu (Arapaima gigas). However, despite significant production, it still faces conventional fish farming problems, such as the degradation of water bodies caused by excretions and feed leftovers, which are transformed into suspended organic matter, carbon dioxide, ammoniacal nitrogen, and other compounds. In this scenario, the present study aims to investigate the feasibility of using aquaponic systems integrated with IoT in the region in terms of production efficiency and quality, employing AI for data modeling.
