USO DO ULTRASSOM TERAPÊUTICO NO PROCESSO DE CICATRIZAÇÃO TECIDUAL EM ANIMAIS- REVISÃO BIBLIOGRÁFICA
Introdução: Na tentativa de minimizar o tempo de cicatrização tecidual, diversos estudos com animais vêm apresentando como fator coadjuvante a utilização do ultrassom terapêutico. Objetivo: apresentar evidências científicas sobre os efeitos do ultrassom terapêutico na cicatrização de feridas cutâneas, tanto nos aspectos físicos, quanto biológicos, bem como suas indicações clínicas. Material e método: Realizou-se uma busca nas bases de dados eletrônicas SciELO e PubMed, utilizando-se os descritores “ultrassom” (ultrasound), “feridas” (healing) e “fisioterapia” (physiotherapy). Como critério de inclusão considerou-se: conter os descritores no título ou resumo, os trabalhos que estavam relacionados à “terapia com ultrassom”, “ultrassom terapêutico no processo de cicatrização de feridas cutâneas em ratos wistar” e “fisioterapia”; textos em inglês e português; publicações entre 1987 a 2011 e livros que tratassem sobre o tema. Considerações finais: O ultrassom terapêutico de forma unâmine é citado pelos autores como fator coadjuvante benéfico no processo de cicatrização de feridas cutâneas, entretanto, os parâmetros para utilização desse recurso é divergente novas pesquisas devem ser realizadas para que seja formado um consenso.

Abstract:
Introduction: For the purposes of reduce the time to tissue wound healing, several animal studies have shown the use of therapeutic ultrasound as an ally in this process. Aim: To investigate scientific evidence on the effects of therapeutic ultrasound on the healing of skin wounds, analyzing clinical and biological aspects as well as the indications and contraindications therapeutic use of it. Materials and methods: a search was performed in electronic databases SciELO and PubMed, using the keywords "ultrasound", "wounded" and "physiotherapy". As inclusion criteria were considered: the descriptors needed to be in the title or abstract, the publications having been related to the "ultrasound therapy", "therapeutic ultrasound in the healing process of skin wounds in Wistar rats" and "physiotherapy"; using texts inEnglish and Portuguese; publications between 1987-2011 and books that addressed on the subject. Final considerations: The therapeutic ultrasound has been quoted by all authors as contributing factor in the skinwound healing process, however, the parameters for using this feature is divergent, for this reason new researches should be carried out for a therapeutic protocol to be created.
