Abstract: The study addresses the growth of screen use and abuse among children and adolescents, which intensified during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Recent research points to significant negative impacts of this excessive use, including emotional, social, cognitive, and physical harm, such as anxiety, depression, social isolation, sleep disorders, obesity, and developmental delays. In light of this scenario, the study proposes and validates a psychoeducational game called “Se liga, desliga aí!” (roughly "Pay Attention, Turn It Off!"), created to guide children and adolescents on healthy technology use. The game was developed with accessible language, playful content, and an educational focus, based on scientific literature and the authors’ clinical experience. The validation was carried out with 11 specialists in the fields of health and education, who evaluated the content, appearance, and relevance of the material using specific instruments (IVCES and IVATES). The results showed high levels of agreement regarding the clarity, pertinence, and educational potential of the game. Some suggestions were made, such as adjustments to font size, inclusion of positive reinforcements, and expansion of alerts about digital risks. Despite the positive reception, the specialists highlighted the need for further studies to assess the practical impact of the game on reducing problematic screen use and on the behavior of children and adolescents. The study reinforces the importance of psychoeducational strategies and family involvement in promoting conscious use of technology. It is concluded that the game is a promising, culturally appropriate tool with the potential to strengthen mental health and digital education initiatives, and future research is recommended to validate its clinical effectiveness.
