Abstract: The central purpose of this research lies in the precise quantification of the values corresponding to atmospheric pressure and gravitational acceleration in the town of Juliaca, through the use of a mobile application. In parallel, it seeks to support these results through a theoretical analysis in the field of university physics learning. For this purpose, the "Sensor Box" application was selected, available for free on the Play Store platform. The data collection process included the execution of measurements in the mentioned locality, while to corroborate the veracity of the results obtained, theoretical calculation equations dependent on latitude, altitude, atmospheric pressure and air density at sea level were used. . Based on the discoveries, it is concluded that mobile applications can play a significant role as an experimental tool in the context of university physics education, presenting itself as a very useful didactic instrument.
