USINAS HIDRELÉTRICAS NA AMAZÔNIA: A RELAÇÃO DE AFETIVIDADE DOS ATINGIDOS COM OS LUGARES IMPACTADOS PELA UHE BELO MONTE NA CIDADE DE ALTAMIRA/PA
Os atingidos por construções de usinas hidrelétricas tendem a carregar um
sentimento de perda de parte de sua história por toda a sua existência, visto que, a
implantação de uma hidrelétrica, geralmente provoca alterações no meio ambiente
físico, econômico, sociocultural e socioespacial e que nenhuma indenização ou
remanejamento reconstituirá. Sendo assim, não é diferente com os atingidos pela
construção da UHE Belo Monte. Dessa forma, este trabalho trata das relações de
afetividade dos atingidos com os lugares impactados em razão da construção da
Usina hidrelétrica de Belo Monte no rio Xingu, sobre tudo, os impactados da área
diretamente afetada no núcleo urbano da cidade de Altamira/PA. O objetivo deste
trabalho foi estudar a relação dos envolvidos com os lugares impactados em
consequências da UHE Belo Monte. Os resultados mostra que, as pessoas atingidas
tendem a carregar um sentimento de perda de parte de sua história, sendo que, as
lembranças do outrora virarão memórias, pois, passarão a ser um mecanismo de se
recontar histórias do que não se vive mais, haja vista que, os laços afetivos com o
lugar são muito valiosos em uma comunidade e que a perda de seu lugar de moradia,
de suas relações sociais são características evidenciadas com a realidade dos
entrevistados

Abstract:
Those affected by hydroelectric power plant constructions tend to carry a
sense of loss of part of their history throughout their existence, it can be observed
that the implantation of a hydroelectric plant usually causes changes in the physical,
economic, socio-cultural and socio-spatial environment Indemnification or relocation
shall reconstitute. Therefore, it is not different with those affected by the construction
of the Belo Monte HPP. In this way, this work deals with the affective relationships of
those affected with the impacted places due to the construction of the Belo Monte
Hydroelectric Power Plant on the Xingu River, above all, people impacted in the area
directly affected in the urban nucleus of the city of Altamira / PA. The objective of this
work was the relation of those involved with the places impacted by the
consequences of Belo Monte HPP. The result shows that people affected tend to carry
a sense of loss of part of their history, and memories of the past will become
memories, therefore, will become a mechanism to retell stories of what is no longer
lived, Affective ties with the place are very valuable in a community and that the loss
of their place of residence, their social relations are characteristic evidenced with the
reality of the interviewees.
