Abstract: Urticaria, a common dermatological condition in children, poses unique challenges in terms of diagnosis and treatment. This review delves into the various types of pediatric urticaria, its epidemiology, and current therapeutic strategies. Acute urticaria is more prevalent, often linked to allergic and infectious causes, while chronic urticaria, though less common, requires more thorough diagnostic approaches. The first-line treatment primarily involves second-generation antihistamines, with options like omalizumab for more severe cases. This review highlights the importance of careful management tailored to pediatric needs and emphasizes the need for ongoing research to optimize therapeutic approaches.
