URBANISMO BIOCLIMÁTICO: AMBIÊNCIA URBANA E PATRIMÔNIO DA PRAÇA TOCHETTO EM PASSO FUNDO, RS
Áreas verdes urbanas exercem forte
influência na vida dos cidadãos e são patrimônio
que devem ser protegidos, por caracterizar a
imagem da cidade. Nesse contexto a pesquisa
tem por objetivo analisar o papel exercido pelo
ambiente natural urbano da Praça Tochetto
na vida cotidiana de Passo Fundo e região,
assim como o impacto na ambiência desse
espaço e a percepção da própria praça
como patrimônio histórico e cultural. Foram
realizados levantamentos in loco e aplicação de
entrevistas, para elaboração de diagnóstico da
ambiência urbana da Praça Ernesto Tochetto
em Passo Fundo, RS; resgate histórico dos
monumentos, bem como avaliar o conforto
ambiental e a humanização, efetivados pelo
usuário da praça e sua relação com o entorno;
compostos pelo espaço construído, objeto da
arquitetura, e seus impactos no comportamento
humano. O levantamento foi realizado em
quatro pontos dentro da praça, onde foram
aplicados questionários, de modo a permitir a
elaboração de fichas bioclimáticas locais e a
percepção do espaço. Ambiência e patrimônio
são temas extremamente relevantes e, como
influenciam na apropriação dos espaços
abertos. Compreender as relações da pessoa
com o ambiente, possibilita a caracterização
e o reconhecimento de elementos que vão
de encontro ao bem-estar dos sujeitos que
dele participam e se apropriam do espaço. Os
resultados permitiram a reflexão da importância
desse ambiente na relação com o fluxo urbano
e a necessidade de proteger o patrimônio
resgatando o valor e identidade do local, como
ponto de referência para a cidade e os usuários.

Abstract:
Urban green areas exert a strong
influence on the lives of citizens and are patrimony
that must be protected by characterizing the
image of the city. In this context, the research
aims to analyze the role played by the natural
urban environment of Tochetto Square in the
daily life of Passo Fundo and the region, as
well as the impact on the environment of this
space and the perception of the square itself as
historical and cultural patrimony. On-site surveys and interviews were carried out to
prepare a diagnosis of the urban environment of Ernesto Tochetto Square in Passo
Fundo, RS; historical rescue of the monuments, as well as evaluate the environmental
comfort and humanization, carried out by the user of the square and its relationship with
the surroundings; composed of the built space, object of architecture, and its impacts
on human behavior. The survey was carried out at four points inside the square, where
questionnaires were applied in order to allow the preparation of local bioclimatic records
and the perception of the space. Environment and heritage are extremely relevant
themes and how they influence the appropriation of open spaces. Understanding
the person's relationships with the environment enables the characterization and
recognition of elements that go against the well-being of the subjects who participate in
it and appropriate the space. The results allowed the reflection of the importance of this
environment in the relationship with the urban flow and the need to protect the heritage
by rescuing the value and identity of the place, as a reference point for the city and the
users.
