UNIVERSIDADES OCIDENTALIZADAS: DA CÂNONE EPISTÊMICA DO SECULO XVI À CONTRA HEGEMONIA NO SÉCULO XXI
RESUMO: O artigo faz um diálogo a partir da consolidação do conhecimento geográfico a partir das eminentes discussões proposta por Ramón Grosfoguel fazendo uma interlocução na contemporaneidade com o processo de globalização discutida por Milton Santos, David Harvey, entre outros. O objetivo é contribuir com o debate epistemológico no que concerne a influência hegemônica do pensamento geográfico, constituído no século XVI, fazendo um reconte temporal para o século XXI. Metodologicamente, a pesquisa tem um caráter teórico, com um aporte literário consistente, que pretende estabelecer um aprofundamento conceitual e epistêmico em torno das contribuições de vários pensadores. Pudemos evidenciar as contribuições dos pensadores tendo como perspectiva a importância da construção epistêmica por parte dos pesquisadores e o rompimento com a centralização do conhecimento em países europeus.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT: The article is a dialogue from the consolidation of geographical knowledge from the eminent discussions proposed by Ramón Grosfoguel making an interlocution in contemporary times with the globalization process discussed by Milton Santos, David Harvey, among others. The objective is to contribute to the epistemological debate regarding the hegemonic influence of geographic thought, constituted in the 16th century, making a temporal recounting for the 21st century. Methodologically, the research has a theoretical character, with a consistent literary contribution, which intends to establish a conceptual and epistemic deepening around the contributions of several thinkers. We were able to highlight the contributions of thinkers with the perspective of the importance of epistemic construction by researchers and the break with the centralization of knowledge in European countries.
