UNA DOCENCIA COMPROMETIDA CON EL PROCESO FORMATIVO INTEGRAL DE LOS ESTUDIANTES DE EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR
Los procesos sustantivos tales como la docencia, la investigación y la proyección social, son los pilares fundamentales de las instituciones de educación superior; cada proceso cumple un importante rol en la formación del ser. El reto de estas instituciones, es generar una educación de calidad que abarque aspectos cognoscitivos, procesales y valorativos desde el aula, para entregar agentes que transformen su entorno en beneficio social e individual. Es fundamental que las instituciones de educación superior cumplan con el eje articulador universidad - sociedad y retomen su papel protagónico para formar profesionales con alto sentido crítico y con conciencia social, comprometidos con un desarrollo humano. Por tal razón, se expone la necesidad del diseño de una estrategia que implique la inclusión de métodos en las carreras universitarias, que favorezcan una formación científica con enfoque social.

Abstract:
The substantives proceedings, such as teaching, investigations and social projection are the Institutions’ fundamentals mainstay of Higher Education; each process plays an important role in the formation being. The challenge of these Institutions, is to generate quality education that embraces cognitive, procedural and evaluative aspects from the classroom, to deliver agents which transform their environment into social and individual benefits. It is indispensable that Higher Education institutions fulfil with the university - society articulation axis and bring back their leading role in training professionals with high critical sense and social awareness, committed with human development. For that reason, the needing to design a strategy, that involves the inclusion of methods in the university careers’, which facilitate a scientific training with social approach, is stained.
