UMA RELAÇÃO DIVINA E CULTURAL ATRAVÉS DA PRÁTICA DO JONGO: MEMÓRIA DE UMA ANCESTRALIDADE DA CANTORA CLEMENTINA DE JESUS
O presente artigo é parte de um capítulo de minha dissertação, o principal objetivo deste é socializar a pesquisa de campo realizada na cidade de Valença - Rio de Janeiro. Nesse trabalho também abordarei o conceito de símbolo da circunferência e a importância do mesmo para a Dança do Jongo. Dessa forma, utilizamos a metodologia etnográfica com a técnica da entrevista, posteriormente análise da documentação disponibilizada, juntamente com outras fontes históricas que retratam essa cultura. Utilizamos também da entrevista informal a formal através de um questionário pré-estabelecido e da observação, podemos dizer que nos valemos da categoria de análises etnográficas a partir das obras de Roberto Cardoso de Oliveira (1996), no que se refere às práticas da observação e da escuta das narrativas dos informantes. Outra técnica utilizada de forma indireta foi à bibliografia de material já produzido em torno da cantora.
No primeiro momento ao chegarmos à cidade, buscamos fazer o levantamento de área, uma forma de conhecer melhor a cidade, pois era a primeira vez que visitávamos a mesma, procuramos a Secretaria de Cultura e formos orientados a procurar à senhora Dilma Dantas Moreira Mazzêo, que a época era secretária, em seguida o contato com a senhora, quando fizemos a apresentação que pertencíamos ao Programa de Pós-graduação em Ciências da Religião da Universidade do Estado do Pará, e que estava ali para entender melhor a religiosidade do objeto de pesquisa, a referida senhora ficou muito surpresa e maravilhada por poder estar contribuindo.

Abstract:
The present article is part of a chapter of my dissertation, the main objective of this is to socialize the field research conducted in the city of Valença - Rio de Janeiro. In this work I will also address the concept of a circle symbol and the importance even for the Jongo Dance. Thus, we use the ethnographic methodology with the interview technique, later analysis of the documentation available, along with other historical sources that portray this culture. We also use the informal to formal interview through a pre-established questionnaire and the observation, we can also say that we also use the category of ethnographic analysis from the works of Roberto Cardoso de Oliveira (1996), with regard to practices observation and listening to informants' narratives. Another technique used indirectly was the bibliography of material already produced around the singer. At the first moment when we arrived in the city, we sought to survey the area, a way to get to know the city better, because it was the first time we visited it, we went to the Department of Culture and we were directed to look for Mrs. Dilma Dantas Moreira Mazzêo, that the time was a secretary, then the contact with the lady, when we made the presentation that belonged to the Post-graduate Program in Religious Sciences of the State University of Pará, and that was there to better understand the religiosity of the research object , the said lady was very surprised and amazed to be contributing.
