UMA REFLEXÃO SOBRE AS LIMITAÇÕES DOS LMS E AS OPORTUNIDADES DA APRENDIZAGEM INFORMAL NO ACOMPANHAMENTO DE ATIVIDADES DOS APRENDIZES EM CURSOS A DISTÂNCIA
Este artigo trata-se de uma revisão
da literatura e tem como objetivo apresentar
uma reflexão sobre as limitações dos Learning
Managements Systems (LMS) em cursos a
distância no que tange o acompanhamento
de atividades de aprendizagem frente às
oportunidades trazidas pela aprendizagem
informal. A literatura tem reforçado o uso
institucionalizado dos LMS, onde apenas as
atividades executadas dentro desses ambientes
são consideradas por professores e tutores para
efeitos de avaliação de disciplinas ou cursos
específicos. A aprendizagem informal, por
sua própria natureza, estabelece um grau de
liberdade aos aprendizes que pela aleatoriedade
de possíveis situações possam ter experiências
variadas sobre assuntos diversos que podem
estar associados aos temas em cursos formais.
Para tanto, é realizada uma visita conceitual
sobre os LMS, são descritas suas limitações
contidas na literatura e uma reflexão sobre
os futuros desafios para as comunidades da
educação e da computação.

Abstract:
This article is a review of the
literature that aims to present a reflection on the
limitations of Learning Managements Systems
(LMS) in distance courses regarding the
accompaniment of learning activities facing the
opportunities brought by informal learning. The
literature has reinforced the institutionalized
use of LMS, where only the activities performed
within these environments are considered
by teachers and tutors for the purpose of
evaluating specific courses or courses. Informal
learning, by its very nature, establishes a
degree of freedom for learners who, due to the
randomness of possible situations, may have
varied experiences on different subjects that
may be associated with the subjects in formal
courses. To this end, a conceptual visit on LMS
is carried out, its limitations are described in the literature and a reflection on future
challenges for the education and computing communities.
