UMA REFLEXÃO SOBRE AS FACES DO TRABALHO NA AMAZÔNIA E SEUS SIGNIFICADOS NO CONTEXTO DOS BOIS-BUMBÁS DE PARINTINS
Este texto pretende fazer uma breve abordagem sobre o trabalho artístico nos galpões dos bois-bumbás na cidade de Parintins, no Estado do Amazonas, a partir da trajetória histórica da ocupação e colonização da Amazônia, procurando mostrar como a temática do trabalho, presente no meio social, é inerente ao homem Amazônico. Primeiramente, apresentaremos as impressões incipientes sobre a Amazônia a partir dos relatos de cronistas e viajantes que estiveram na região. O imaginário construído por eles colaborou para justificar a opressão e o preconceito contra os povos indígenas, o que facilitou sua exploração, que ainda é vista entre os trabalhadores do boi-bumbá. Desde as primeiras expedições na região o europeu se beneficiou do trabalho indígena, fundamental para seu empreendimento colonizador. A utilização de mão de obra nativa na ocupação da Amazônia também significou a apropriação de seus conhecimentos em prol da exploração da floresta. A reciprocidade no trabalho artístico pode ser entendida hoje como um legado de uma ancestralidade indígena, e também encontramos semelhanças significativas entre o trabalho nos seringais e nos galpões do boi-bumbá. Hoje em dia, a Amazônia ainda é percebida por muitos como uma fronteira a ser cruzada por projetos de desenvolvimento que pensados de fora para dentro, em geral, muitos tendem a fracassar, contribuindo para a cristalização de preconceitos em sua população. Isso nos leva a pensar na noção de mundos do trabalho, conceito que na Amazônia pode ser visto desde o trabalho na fábrica, até os trabalhadores dos galpões do boi-bumbá, que produzem anonimamente a festa que é consumida por muitos, sem, no entanto, haver uma reflexão profunda de quem consome sobre quem o produz.

Abstract:
This text intends to make a brief approach about the artistic work in the bois-bumbás sheds in the city of Parintins, in the State of Amazonas, from the historical trajectory of the occupation and colonization of the Amazon, trying to show how the theme of the work, present in the environment social, is inherent to the Amazonian man. First, we will present the incipient impressions about the Amazon from the reports of chroniclers and travelers who were in the region. The imaginary constructed by them collaborated to justify the oppression and prejudice against indigenous peoples, which facilitated their exploitation, which is still seen among boi-bumbá workers. Since the first expeditions in the region, the European benefited from the indigenous work, fundamental for his colonizing enterprise. The use of native labor in the occupation of the Amazon also meant the appropriation of their knowledge in favor of forest exploration. Reciprocity in artistic work can be understood today as a legacy of an indigenous ancestry, and we also find significant similarities between the work in the rubber plantations and in the boi-bumbá sheds. Today, the Amazon is still perceived by many as a frontier to be crossed by development projects that are thought from the outside in. In general, many tend to fail, contributing to the crystallization of prejudices in its population. This leads us to think about the notion of worlds of work, a concept that in the Amazon can be seen from factory work, to workers in the boi-bumbá sheds, who anonymously produce the party that is consumed by many, without, however , there is a deep reflection of those who consume about those who produce them.
