UMA REFLEXÃO EPISTEMOLÓGICA ACERCA DO NOVO PARADIGMA DA CIÊNCIA NO CAMPO DA PSICOLOGIA SOCIAL
O presente artigo almeja realizar
uma reflexão acerca do paradigma de ciência
do qual a psicologia faz uso, atualmente, em
suas práticas e em seu fazer científico. Mais
especificamente, no campo da psicologia social,
a partir do paradigma positivista de ciência,
a crise paradigmática atual e o paradigma
emergente proposto por Santos (2008) em seu
livro “Um discurso sobre as ciências”. O caminho
metodológico foi de caráter bibliográfico,
fazendo uso de livros e artigos científicos
que permitiram uma reflexão históricoepistemológica
acerca do presente tema. A partir
do exposto, foi possível concluir que a falta de
consenso paradigmático no campo da ciência
psicológica é reflexo de uma epistemologia
diversificada, sendo importante ressaltar que
o paradigma do qual se utiliza para produzir
conhecimento precisa estar comprometido em
desenvolver um conhecimento científico útil,
comprometido socialmente e desvencilhado
de relações causais, dessa forma estará
aliado à epistemologia da psicologia social.
Em suma, independente da raiz metodológica
do pesquisador, ou seja, independente da sua
forma de escolha para conhecer seu objeto
de estudo, a produção do conhecimento
deve extrapolar o domínio da técnica, deve
compreender que o conhecimento é ético
e político e que, portanto, deve-se levar em
conta principalmente o impacto social daquele
conhecimento produzido.

Abstract:
This article aims intends to question
the paradigm of science that psychology
currently uses in its endeavors and in its scientific
practice. More specifically, in the field of social
psychology, from the positivist paradigm of
science, the current paradigmatic crisis and the
emerging paradigm proposed by Santos (2008)
in his book “Um discurso sobre as ciências”. The
methodological path was a bibliographical one,
making use of books and scientific articles that
allowed a historical-epistemological reflection
about the present theme. From the above, it was
possible to conclude that the lack of paradigmatic
consensus in the field of psychological science
is a reflection of a diversified epistemology,
being important to emphasize that the paradigm
that is used to produce knowledge must be
committed to develop a useful, socially and unencumbered by causal relations, in this
way will be allied with the epistemology of social psychology. In short, regardless of the
researcher’s methodological root, that is, regardless of his or her choice to know his
or her object of study, the production of knowledge must extrapolate the domain of the
technique, he must understand that knowledge is ethical and political and therefore ,
the social impact of that knowledge must be taken into account.
