Abstract: This article addresses the introduction of robotics in physics teaching with the aim of empowering students to be protagonists of their own learning. Highlights the importance of enabling students to understand natural phenomena and technological advances, creating an interactive learning environment that encourages skills such as abstraction, creativity, leadership, computational skills and teamwork. The method used is qualitative, with an action research approach, where the teacher intervenes to promote positive changes in the school environment. The project is divided into three stages: presentation of the programming environment, exploration of physical concepts related to mechanical waves and echolocation, and the construction of a parking sensor. Overall, the project demonstrated that robotics and physics can be used effectively to promote meaningful and lasting learning, highlighting teamwork and the development of cognitive skills as benefits. The project was recognized with first place in a UFV science fair, demonstrating the success of the initiative, although it is suggested that more studies be carried out to further explore the impact of these innovative approaches in teaching physics.
