Uma leitura da gíria imagética na pichação e no grafite
O grafite e a pichação são fenômenos contemporâneos presentes nas grandes cidades. Tais fenômenos marcam territórios e usam uma linguagem universal, as imagens. Nesse contexto, este trabalho foi idealizado com o intuito de divulgar e melhor entender o processo evolutivo das gírias, registrando a existência das gírias em determinadas imagens, como a pichação e o grafite. O estudo busca mostrar a trans e multi aplicabilidade das gírias, que transitam como variações linguísticas que perpassam a linguagem oral e escrita, mostrando-se nas imagens supracitadas. Ao estudar o contexto da gíria e observar, nos grandes centros urbanos, a aceitação artística do grafite e a rejeição à pichação, entende-se ser necessário aprofundar o estudo linguístico nessa área. Nesse sentido, surge o desejo de analisar as imagens da arte de rua, rotuladas como pichação e grafite, com o intuito de problematizar o surgimento
das gírias imagéticas. O objetivo geral deste trabalho é analisar a gíria enquanto variação
linguística, classificando-a como uma das novas modalidades encontradas nas artes visuais, agora reconhecida pela ciência da linguagem. Os objetivos específicos são: conceituar a gíria imagética como uma variação linguística e estudá-la na perspectiva artística e linguística, de forma que contribua para outros estudos da linguagem; analisar os pontos convergentes entre gíria, grafite e pichação, mostrando as dificuldades de leitura das gírias imagéticas; e aumentar a consciência linguística dos novos estudiosos sobre o tema abordado bem como contribuir para o desenvolvimento do texto imagético. A fim de atingir o objetivo almejado, nos três primeiros capítulos constrói-se um levantamento histórico e bibliográfico para chegar à gênese dos suportes (pichação/grafite), contextualizando o seu surgimento nas artes visuais e verificando como pensam os praticantes dessa arte efêmera. Para ilustrar e dar
embasamento teórico, são trabalhados os conceitos de mudança e variação linguística, que marcam, sobretudo, uma abordagem de opiniões sobre quebra de preconceito e tabus, um novo olhar para a gíria imagética e, principalmente, o respeito às diferenças que os membros da comunidade de uso lançam sobre a execução da pichação e do grafite. No capítulo 4, são explicitadas a metodologia, os procedimentos e os recursos utilizados para a geração de dados. No capítulo 5, são analisados os dados gerados. Por fim, têm-se as considerações finais.

Abstract:
The lack of reading of images entails the absence of visual literacy, thus impairing social well-being and making teaching/learning difficult. This work was conceived with the intention of promoting and better understanding the evolutionary process of slang and registering the existence of slang in certain images, which is the case of graffiti and tagging. What is wanted in this study is to show the trans and multi applicability of slang, which transits as linguistic
variations permeate oral and written language and are shown in the above images. Through the effort to research on slang and observing in the great urban centers the artistic acceptance
of graphite and the rejection of graffiti criticism, it was noticed the need to deepen the linguistic study in this area. In this sense, the desire arises to analyze the images of street art, so labeled
graffiti and graphite in order to show the world the appearance of imaginary slang. The general objective of this work is to analyze slang as linguistic variation, classifying it as one of the new
existing modalities found in the visual arts and now recognized through the lens of the science of language. The specific objectives are: to conceptualize the imaginary slang as a linguistic variation and to study it in the artistic and linguistic perspective, in a way that contributes to other studies of the language; to analyze the converging points between slang, graphite and graffiti, to show the difficulties of reading the imaginary slang, and finally, to increase the linguistic awareness of the new scholars on the subject addressed as well as to contribute to the development of the imagery text. For this purpose and in order to achieve the desired goal, a historical and bibliographical survey is made in chapters 1, 2 and 3 to know the genesis of the supports (graffiti/tagging), their appearance in the visual arts and, how practitioners see
this ephemeral art form. In order to illustrate and give a theoretical background, the concepts of change and linguistic variation are provided, which means, above all, an approach to opinions
about the breaking of prejudice and taboos; a new gaze at the imagery slang and, mainly, to respect the differences that the members of the community of use do on the execution of the
graffiti and tagging. Chapter 4 explains the methodology, procedures and resources used for data generation. In chapter 5, the generated data are analyzed. Finally, there are the final
