UMA EXPERIÊNCIA DE COMUNICAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA ENTRE ESCOLAS ESTADUAIS E A UNIVERSIDADE NA PROMOÇÃO DE SAÚDE BUCAL
O Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação Científica - Ensino Médio (PIBIC-EM) consiste em uma parceria entre os estudantes das escolas de nível médio com instituições de ensino e pesquisa, que possuem PIBIC. O objetivo deste estudo é relatar a experiência da parceria da Faculdade de Odontologia de Piracicaba, da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (FOP-UNICAMP) com alunos do ensino médio da rede pública. Esta experiência tem sido de grande aproveitamento para ambas as instituições, desenvolvendo um processo de comunicação científica e promoção de saúde entre os envolvidos e para as comunidades em que vivem. Dentre as atividades realizadas, palestras/orientações/vídeos/teatro sobre saúde bucal e saúde sistêmica foram realizadas, além de participação no Programa Escola da Família e outros projetos, trazendo mudanças positivas e cada vez mais construtivas ao longo do ano letivo. Com isso, concluímos que o projeto tem aprimorado os valores morais e éticos e o pensamento crítico-reflexivo, a fim de estimular uma valorização do espaço de ensino e a pesquisa científica no país.

Abstract:
The Institutional Program for Scientific Initiation Scholarships - High School consists of a partnership between high school students with educational and research institutions, which have PIBIC. The aim of this study is to report the experience of the partnership of the Piracicaba School of Dentistry, the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) with public high school students. This experience has been of great use to both institutions, developing a process of scientific communication and health promotion among those involved and for the communities in which they live. Among the activities performed, lectures / orientations / videos / theater on oral health and systemic health were held, as well as participation in the Family School Program and other projects, bringing positive and increasingly constructive changes throughout the school year. With this, we conclude that the project has improved moral and ethical values and critical-reflective thinking, in order to stimulate an appreciation of the teaching space and scientific research in the country.
