Uma discussão sobre a diversidade étnico-racial na Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná
Este trabalho busca lançar luz à
temática da diversidade e pluralidade étnicoracial
presente nas instituições educacionais
brasileiras de ensino superior, a partir de
uma pesquisa exploratória realizada na
Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná
(UTFPR) durante o ano de 2018. Para isso,
o estudo parte do conceito de diversidade
cultural, entendendo a cultura em seu sentido
mais amplo como práticas que implicam
modos de vida, direitos fundamentais do
ser humano, sistema de valores, tradições e
crenças (UNESCO). Nesse sentido, a questão
da diversidade cultural implica também as
discussões de como a sociedade e suas
instituições se organizam para negociar suas
relações, torna-se assim, relevante investigar
como essas relações estão presentes numa
universidade pública brasileira. Ainda como
parte do referencial teórico, o trabalho debruçase
na contextualização das leis brasileiras de
ações afirmativas no cenário nacional e na
instituição e utiliza um aporte-teórico que busca
compreender o cenário de desigualdade racial
e social, o conceito de diversidade e, por fim as
políticas públicas implementadas atualmente.
Serão utilizados dados da pesquisa realizada
na UTFPR (2018) e como dados secundários a
IV Pesquisa do Perfil Socioeconômico e Cultural
dos Estudantes de graduação (2014).

Abstract:
This work search to throw light to
the theme of the diversity and present ethnicracial
plurality in the institutions education
higher education Brazilians, starting from an
exploratory research accomplished in the
Federal Technological University of Paraná
(UTFPR) during the year of 2018. for that, the
study part of the concept of cultural diversity,
understanding the culture in his/her wider sense
as practices than they implicate life manners,
the human being’s fundamental rights, system
of values, traditions and faiths (UNESCO). In
that sense, the subject of the cultural diversity
also implicates the discussions of as the society
and their institutions are organized to negotiate
their relationships, he/she becomes like this,
relevant to investigate as those relationships
they are present in a Brazilian public university.
Still as part of the theoretical referencial, the
work leans over on the contextualization of the Brazilian laws of affirmative actions in
the national scenery and in the institution and it uses a contribution-theoretical one that
he/she looks for to understand the scenery of racial and social inequality, the diversity
concept and, finally the public politics implemented now. Data of the research will be
used accomplished in UTFPR (2018) and as secondary data to IV Research of the
Socioeconomic and Cultural Profile of the graduation Students (2014).
