Abstract: The article investigates the state of the art regarding the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDICs) in High School and their relevance to teaching and learning. The research, based on a bibliographic review in the SciELO Brasil, Google Scholar, BDTD, and CAPES platforms, covers publications from 2020 to 2023. The results indicate that TDICs expand pedagogical possibilities, making teaching more dynamic, interactive, and accessible. However, challenges such as the lack of teacher training, inadequate infrastructure, and resistance to adopting these technologies hinder their full implementation. The study concludes that, to ensure the effective use of TDICs, it is essential to invest in teacher training, formulate public policies, and adopt innovative methodologies that strategically integrate these tools into the school curriculum.
