UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA DE ACADÊMICOS DE ENFERMAGEM SOBRE A ATUAÇÃO DO AGENTE COMUNITÁRIO DE SAÚDE
O Programa de Agentes Comunitários de Saúde foi implementado em 1991 pelo Ministério da Saúde, sob a finalidade de criar uma classe de trabalhadores que façam parte da comunidade e articulem como intermediários entre a prestação dos serviços de saúde e os usuários da Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS). O objetivo deste relato é descrever a experiência dos acadêmicos de enfermagem durante o estágio supervisionado, em relação à atuação dos Agentes Comunitários de Saúde em um centro de saúde na região leste de Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. A partir das visitas domiciliares, percebeu-se que os ACS têm grande domínio de informações pertinentes aos usuários e ao centro de saúde, das demandas da população e históricos pregressos e atuais de saúde dos usuários, fazendo da atuação deles uma ligação entre os serviços disponíveis e as demandas individuais e familiares a serem solucionadas pelo sistema de saúde. Tal aproximação e coleta de dados propicia a execução das atividades de prevenção e promoção da saúde e a implementação de atendimentos pautados na equidade, nos princípios de integralidade e participação social do Sistema Único de Saúde. Evidencia-se a importância dos Agentes Comunitários de Saúde para a promoção da saúde, captação de usuários e participação social nas unidades básicas de saúde.

Abstract:
The Community Health Agents Program was implemented in 1991 by the Ministry of Health, with the aim of creating a class of workers who form part of the community and articulate as intermediaries between the provision of health services and users of Primary Health Care (APS). The objective of this report is to describe the experience of nursing students during the supervised internship, in relation to the work of Community Health Agents in a health center in the eastern region of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. From the home visits, it was noticed that the CHAs have a great command of information relevant to the users and the health center, the demands of the population and the past and current health history of the users, making their work a link between the available services and the individual and family demands to be solved by the health system. This approximation and data collection facilitates the execution of prevention and health promotion activities and the implementation of services based on equity, on the principles of integrality and social participation of the Unified Health System. The importance of Community Health Agents for promoting health, attracting users and social participation in basic health units is evident.
