UM PROJETO DE PESQUISA DE ENSINO DE MATEMÁTICA PENSADO PARA O ALUNO DEFICIENTE VISUAL DO INSTITUTO FEDERAL DO PARANÁ - IFPR
Promover a inclusão dos deficientes visuais em instituições de ensino, é um dos desafios vivenciados pelos professores de matemática do século XXI. Nesse sentido, foi desenvolvido em 2019, o projeto de pesquisa intitulado Ensino de matemática para o deficiente visual, no Instituto Federal do Paraná (IFPR), campus Foz do Iguaçu. Assim, na equipe proponente do projeto estiveram envolvidos professores de matemática do Grupo de Pesquisa em Educação, Ciências e Matemática (GPECiM)/IFPR, além da colaboração do aluno deficiente visual do curso Técnico em Informática e das acadêmicas do curso de Licenciatura em Física desse campus. Nessa perspectiva, foram elaborados materiais didáticos, estratégias didáticas e recursos instrucionais que promovessem o ensino e aprendizagem dos conceitos de matemática para estudantes com deficiência visual. Por fim, pode-se dizer que o projeto contribuiu tanto para aproximação da relação professor/aluno, quanto na formação das acadêmicas e professores de matemática e suas dificuldades em lidar com determinadas deficiências, mediando assim, o processo de inclusão necessário e possível nas aulas de matemática.

Abstract:
Promoting the inclusion of the visually impaired in educational institutions is one of the challenges experienced by 21st century mathematics teachers. In this sense, a research project entitled Teaching mathematics for the visually impaired was developed in 2019, at the Federal Institute of Paraná (IFPR), Foz do Iguaçu campus. Thus, the team proposing the project involved mathematics teachers from the Research Group on Education, Sciences and Mathematics (GPECiM) / IFPR, in addition to the collaboration of the visually impaired student in the Technical course in Informatics and the students in the Physics Degree course of that campus. From this perspective, didactic materials, didactic strategies and instructional resources were developed to promote the teaching and learning of mathematics concepts for visually impaired students. Finally, it can be said that the project contributed to the approximation of the teacher / student relationship, as well as to the formation of academics and mathematics teachers and their difficulties in dealing with certain deficiencies, thus mediating the necessary and possible inclusion process in classes of math
