UM PRÍNCIPE NO JARDIM DAS ROSAS: ENTE E EXISTÊNCIA EM O PEQUENO PRÍNCIPE (1944)
O presente texto visa a propor uma interpretação filosófica e teologal do clássico O Pequeno Príncipe (1944), do aviador Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, transmutada, ao longo da segunda metade do século XX, em obra-prima de poesia e verdadeiro "romance de formação" existencialista. Muitos adultos leram, para si e para seus filhos, este belo e singelo enredo. Nesta perspectiva, revisitamos os sistemas filosóficos de Platão, Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel e Martin Heidegger para compreender o Dasein que somos na história, bem como a Teologia de Leonardo Boff e a consagrada metáfora da águia e da galinha. Ao fim, enseja-se uma leitura cristã da obra em análise.

Abstract:
The present text aims at proposing a philosophical and theological interpretation of the classic book The Little Prince (1944), by the French aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, which was transmuted, along the second half of the 20th. century, into a masterpiece of poetry and true "Bildungsroman" of the Existentialism. Many adults have read this wondrous and simple plot to themselves or their offspring. Under such perspective, we revisit the philosophical systems by Plato, Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel and Martin Heidegger in order to understand the Dasein that we are in history, as well as the theology of Leonardo Boff and his consecrated metaphor of the eagle and the hen. At the end, we suggest a Christian reading of the work analysed.
