UM OLHAR SUSTENTÁVEL PARA OS RESIDÚOS ORGÂNICOS PRODUZIDOS NA COMUNIDADE ESCOLAR
O estudo visou estimular nos educandos do ensino fundamental a conscientização do descarte do material orgânico, além de oferecer um destino adequado a esses resíduos produzidos no ambiente escolar. O projeto foi desenvolvido em uma escola da rede pública de ensino no município de Cacoal, estado de Rondônia. Foram elaboradas e executadas aulas teóricas e práticas sobre os resíduos orgânicos sólidos e compostagem. Após o termino do projeto, o composto orgânico produzido foi utilizado na horta e no jardim da escola. Os alunos aprenderam como fazer a compostagem e através do contato com a natureza puderam realizar práticas sustentáveis. Os alunos se mostraram conscientes da importância em cuidar da escola e preservar o meio ambiente por meio de ações conjuntivas. Percebeu-se que a sustentabilidade pode ser vivenciada a partir de pequenas atitudes no dia a dia e que todos podem ser multiplicadores desse projeto.

Abstract:
The study aimed to stimulate the fundamental students to self-conscience the residues produced in the school environment. The project was developed in a public school system in the municipality of Cacoal, state of Rondônia. Theoretical and practical classes on solid organic residues and composting were elaborated and executed. When the project was over, the organic compost produced was used in the school vegetable garden. The students learned how to work with the compost bin e by the nature contact they could achieve sustainable practices. The students appeared to be very conscience about the importance of taking care of the school and preserve the environment through the community actions. It was Highlighted that the sustainability can be achieved through little every day attitudes and every one can multiple this project.
