UM OLHAR SOBRE A QUÍMICA NA PERSPECTIVA DE ALUNOS DO ENSINO MÉDIO DE UMA ESCOLA DE SALINAS-MG
O conhecimento de Química tem uma função de extrema importância para a humanidade, visto que está presente em diferentes setores da vida da sociedade contemporânea e possibilita ao indivíduo desenvolver uma visão crítica do mundo que o cerca e utilizar este conhecimento no cotidiano, bem como buscar contribuir para a qualidade de vida da sociedade como um todo. Nesse sentido, a presente pesquisa teve como principal objetivo, identificar, por meio de um questionário de caráter misto, as concepções que os estudantes de uma Escola pública de Salinas apresentam em relação à Ciência Química, bem como compreender as relações estabelecidas por eles entre a Química e o Cotidiano. Assim, os resultados deste trabalho revelaram que os discentes entrevistados apresentam uma visão distorcida e por vezes negativa da Química, não compreendendo o real significado e abrangência da Química no cotidiano.

Abstract:
The knowledge of chemistry has an extremely important function for humanity, since it is present in different sectors of life in contemporary society and enables the individual to develop a critical view of the world around him and use this knowledge in everyday life, as well as seek to contribute to the quality of life of society as a whole. In this sense, the main objective of the present research was to identify, by means of a questionnaire of mixed character, the conceptions that students of a public school in Salinas -MG present in relation to the Science of Chemistry, as well as to understand the relationships established by them between Chemistry and Everyday Life. Thus, the results of this work revealed that the students interviewed present a distorted and sometimes negative view of Chemistry, not understanding the real meaning and scope of Chemistry in everyday life.
