UM ESTUDO SOBRE A RELAÇÃO ENTRE A FORMAÇÃO ESCOLAR E A HISTÓRIA DE VIDA DE JOVENS ESTUDANTES DA EDUCAÇÃO DE JOVENS E ADULTOS
O presente artigo socializa resultados de uma pesquisa de iniciação científica concluída em 2020 pela Universidade Federal do Amazonas, grupo de pesquisa, Comunicação, Tecnologia e Cultura na Educação Presencial e a Distância (CEFORT). O estudo se concretizou mediante os objetivos de analisar e compreender a relação entre a formação escolar e a história de vida de jovens estudantes da Educação de Jovens e Adultos. A Educação de Jovens e Adultos é uma modalidade que integra o ensino fundamental, visando ofertar educação ao jovem, a partir de 15 anos, que não conseguiu finalizar seus estudos no tempo estimado quando o ingresso no ensino fundamental ocorre aos 6 anos. O perfil do aluno da EJA é bem diversificado, variando entre homens e mulheres, pais e mães, desempregados e trabalhadores, pessoas em busca do primeiro emprego, idosos, moradores de periferia. O campo de estudo foi uma escola estadual que trabalha esta modalidade, localizada na Zona Sul da cidade de Manaus. A coleta de dados se iniciou a partir de uma observação do público-alvo, visando selecionar os entrevistados. Após a seleção foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com alunos e professores da Instituição. Nesse processo foi solicitado que os alunos fizessem um relato autobiográfico por meio da escrita de cartas. A análise de dados foi fundamentada no método de interpretação de sentidos.

Abstract:
This article socializes the results of a scientific initiation research completed in 2020 by the Federal University of Amazonas, a research group, Communication, Technology and Culture in Face and Distance Education (CEFORT). The study was carried out through the objectives of analyzing and understanding the relationship between school education and the life history of young students of Youth and Adult Education (YAE). Youth and Adult Education is a modality that integrates elementary school, aiming to offer education to young people, from 15 years, who could not finish their studies in the estimated time when entry to elementary school occurs at 6 years of age. The profile of the YAE students are very diverse, ranging from men and women, fathers and mothers, unemployed and workers, people in search of their first job, elderly people, periphery residents. The field of study was a state school that works this modality, located in the South Zone of Manaus city. Data collection started from an observation of the targeted audience, in order to select the interviewees. After the selection, semi-structured interviews were conducted with students and teachers of the Institution. In this process, students were asked to make an autobiographical report through the writing of letters.
