UM ESTUDO ACERCA DO SENTIMENTO DA MÃE DURANTE A INTERNAÇÃO DO FILHO NA UNIDADE DE TERAPIA INTENSIVA
Introdução: Este estudo teve como objetivo identificar a falha na percepção dos profissionais quanto aos sentimentos, experiências, expectativas e necessidades das mães durante a internação do seu filho na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal (UTIN). Estudo descritivo com abordagem qualitativa trata-se de um estudo baseado em revisão de literatura e também de uma vivencia profissional, que foi observando devido ao comportamento das mães suas preocupações, através de pequenos relatos com caráter de desabafo durante os cuidados aos filhos, alguns minutos de atenção a estes que demonstravam as necessidades não necessariamente e nem totalmente relacionadas à saúde do seu filho ali internado e sim de suas carências pessoais mesmo que aparentemente as mais simples. Com intuito de mudar este cenário deu-se inicio a ações e atividades no ambiente hospitalar, gerando intencionalmente um estreitamento na confiança entre os profissionais e as mães, consequentemente mudando o olhar e cuidado com esta, dando-lhe autonomia por meio desta confiança para o desenvolvimento de um empoderamento, para que ela se permita ser não apenas a mãe de um bebê internado, mais também a mulher que trabalha fora com uma vida social ativa, a esposa e possivelmente a mãe de outro(s) filho(s).

Abstract:
Introduction: This study aims at identifying the professionals’ lack of perception regarding mothers' feelings, experiences, expectations and needs during their child's hospitalization at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). It is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach based on literature review and on professional experience. It is the result of observing the behavior of mothers, their concerns, through small reports during child care along the few minutes of attention to those who demonstrated the needs not necessarily and not entirely related to the health of their child, but their personal needs, even if apparently the simplest. In order to change this scenario, actions and activities must be initiated in the hospital environment, intentionally generating a narrowing of trust between professionals and mothers, consequently changing the look and care with it, giving it autonomy through this trust for the patient. development of empowerment so that she allows herself not only to be the mother of a hospitalized baby, but also the woman who works out an active social life, the wife and possibly the mother of another children.
