“UM ENGENHEIRO NECESSITA COMUNICAR-SE DE FORMA EFICIENTE?”: REFLEXÕES SOBRE PRÁTICAS COMUNICACIONAIS
O “ser humano engenheiro”
necessita desenvolver habilidades que lhe
permitam redigir textos técnicos, bem como
expressar-se com coesão, clareza e eficiência,
o que muitas vezes o assusta, pois seu perfil é
mais voltado à tecnologia. Face a tal problema
e à práxis das pesquisadoras (uma, estudante
de engenharia interessada pelo tema; outra,
professora de Comunicação Oral e Escrita),
e tendo como suporte teórico principal textos
de Reinaldo Polito e João B. Medeiros,
apresentam-se algumas reflexões sobre a
comunicação, posto que falar em público é uma
habilidade a ser desenvolvida e não algo inato.
O principal escopo, portanto, é demonstrar a
importância de uma comunicação competente
e as condições para bem realizá-la.

Abstract:
The “engineer human being” has to
develop skills that allows to write technical texts,
as well to express itself cohesively, clear and
efficient, which often is considerated intimidate
because engineers’s profile normaly are more
tecnologhical. Looking at this problem and
on behalf of the researchers (an engineering
student interested on the subject and a teacher
of Oral and Written Communication), having as
main theoretical support the autors Reinaldo
Polito and João B. Medeiros, produces some
reflections about communication, since public
speaking is a skill to be developed and not
something innate. The main scope, therefore,
is demonstrating the importance of an efficient
communication and how to perform it.
