TURISMO E PATRIMÔNIO CULTURAL: ROTEIROS TURÍSTICOS SOB A ÓTICA DA CULTURA AFRO-BRASILEIRA NA REGIÃO CENTRAL DA CIDADE DE SÃO PAULO
Esta pesquisa refere-se ao projeto de iniciação científica financiado pelo CNPq e tem como foco central identificar, analisar e atualizar roteiros turísticos sobre a cultura afro-brasileira, que colaboram para o entendimento da construção e formação da cidade de São Paulo, por meio do conhecimento do patrimônio cultural urbano, distribuídos ao longo da região central da cidade, principalmente nos bairros da Sé, República e Liberdade, no intuito de se apropriar do espaço urbano, valorizando a identidade cultural e o direito a memória social afro diaspórica em São Paulo. Um dos aspectos de destaque deste estudo é contribuir com a educação não formal, através da potencialização do turismo cultural e estímulo a elaboração de políticas públicas, por levantamento, identificação e localização de elementos da paisagem geográfica representantes do patrimônio cultural, assim como, o mapeamento de roteiros turísticos do patrimônio afro em São Paulo.

Abstract:
This research refers to the scientific initiation project funded by CNPq and intends to identify, analyze and update tourist itineraries on Afro-Brazilian culture, which contribute to the understanding of the construction and formation of the city of São Paulo, through the knowledge of the urban cultural heritage distributed throughout the central region of the city, mainly in the Sé, República and Liberdade districts, in order to appropriate the urban space, valuing cultural identity and the right to afro diasporic social memory in São Paulo. One of the outstanding aspects of this study is to contribute to non-formal education, by enhancing cultural tourism and stimulating the development of public policies, by surveying, identifying, and locating elements of the geographic landscape that represent cultural heritage, as well as mapping of tourist itineraries of Afro heritage in São Paulo.
