TRITERPENOIDES DA FRAÇÃO HEXÂNICA DOS GALHOS DE Platonia Insignis Mart. (Clusiaceae)
Platonia insignis Mart. conhecida
popularmente como “bacuri”, é uma árvore
frutífera, pertencente à família Clusiaceae. O
presente trabalho teve como objetivo isolar e
identificar os compostos da fração hexânica
do extrato etanólico dos galhos de P. insignis.
O estudo fitoquímico da fração hexânica
possibilitou isolar e identificar os triterpenoides:
lupeol (1), β-amirina (2), lupenona (3) e betulina
(4). Os compostos 2, 3 e 4 estão sendo relatados
pela primeira vez no gênero Platonia.

Abstract:
Platonia insignis Mart. popularly
known as “bacuri”, it is a fruit tree, belonging
to the Clusiaceae family. The present work
aimed to isolate and identify the compounds
of the hexane fraction of the ethanolic extract
of P. insignis branches. The phytochemical
study of the hexane fraction made it possible
to isolate and identify the triterpenoids: lupeol
(1), β-amirine (2), lupenone (3) and betulin (4).
Compounds 2, 3 and 4 are being reported for
the first time in the Platonia genus.
