TRATAMENTOS TERAPÊUTICOS PARA PACIENTES COM INSUFICIÊNCIA RESPIRATÓRIA EM VIRTUDE DO ACOMETIMENTO DE COVID-19
O Covid-19 (Coronavírus), doença causada pela infecção pelo vírus SARS-COV-2, causou impacto no cenário mundial ao demonstrar seu alto potencial lesivo à saúde humana e pelo seu caráter pandêmico. A comunidade científica busca cotidianamente a descoberta de tratamentos para auxiliar à evolução dos quadros de pacientes que apresentam síndromes respiratórias em razão desta doença. O presente projeto de pesquisa analisou tratamentos terapêuticos que podem ser realizados pelo profissional de fisioterapia em indivíduos que apresentem esses sintomas. Objetivou-se compreender a saúde e a importância da fisioterapia para o bem-estar do ser humano, especialmente no que diz respeito ao Covid-19, observando como se dá o seu desenvolvimento no corpo humano; apresentar quais os tratamentos terapêuticos podem ser adotados pelo fisioterapeuta nos casos de síndrome respiratória e ainda entender a efetividade dos tratamentos terapêuticos na evolução do quadro de saúde dos pacientes acometidos por Covid-19. Utilizou-se a metodologia explicativo-descritiva, de cunho qualitativo, para descrever de maneira crítica as observações obtidas após a leitura da bibliografia e material pertinente à matéria abordada. Concluiu-se que diversos são os recursos que podem ser aplicados pelo profissional de fisioterapia em pacientes que apresentem quadro de síndrome respiratória, a depender do grau de comprometimento da saúde do homem acometido pelo Coronavírus.

Abstract:
Covid-19 (Coronavirus), a disease caused by infection with the SARS-COV-2 virus, has caused impact on the world scene by demonstrating its high potential damage to human health and its pandemic character. The scientific community is daily searching for treatments to help the evolution of patients who present respiratory syndromes due to this disease. The present research project analyzed the therapeutic treatments that can be carried out by the physical therapy professional in individuals who present these symptoms. It aimed to understand health and the importance of physical therapy for human well-being, especially regarding Covid-19, observing how it develops in the human body; to present which therapeutic treatments can be adopted by the physical therapist in cases of respiratory syndrome, and also to understand the effectiveness of therapeutic treatments in the evolution of the health condition of patients affected by Covid-19. An explanatory-descriptive, qualitative methodology was used to critically describe the observations obtained after reading the bibliography and pertinent material. It was concluded that there are several resources that can be applied by the physiotherapy professional in patients who present respiratory syndrome, depending on the degree of impairment of the health of the man affected by the Coronavirus.
