Abstract: Introduction: Blood disorders can cause damage to any area of the body, among which hereditary coagulopathies stand out, which include hemorrhagic diseases resulting from a lack of plasma protein, related to coagulation factors. The most common pathologies are hemophilia and Von Willebrand disease. Objective: To analyze the dental treatment of patients with hereditary coagulopathies, with an emphasis on hemophilia and Von Willebrand disease. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review with a qualitative approach, carried out through the search for scientific articles in the databases: VHL, SCIELO, LILACS and PUBMED using the descriptors: Hematology; Coagulopathy; Dental Treatment, using the Boolean operator AND. Results and Discussion: 16 articles were selected that showed that hemophilia and Von Willebrand's disease are the most common hereditary coagulopathies, individuals who manifest them present complications that are difficult to solve at the time of dental treatment. The dentist must take a good history, if he suspects something, he must request a hematological examination before starting treatment, as these patients have a high bleeding rate. Treatment for these coagulopathies will depend on their degree of severity, as well as the procedure that will be performed on the patient. Individuals with hemophilia and Von Willebrand disease are susceptible to complications during dental treatment in the office or surgical center. Conclusion: it is essential that dental surgeons have knowledge of these pathologies, in order to avoid consequences, and teamwork with the hematologist is crucial, as it will reflect on the success of dental treatment and the patient's prognosis.
