TRATAMENTO HOMEOPÁTICO, REABILITAÇÃO E REINTRODUÇÃO À VIDA-LIVRE DE CARACARA PLANCUS POLIFRATURADO EM FASE JUVENIL
Em vista a todos os animais selvagens, as aves são as que, querendo ou não, possuem um contato maior com os humanos. Esse maior contato também se deve ao crescimento urbano e diminuição de seu habitat natural sendo que frequentemente são encontradas feridas por colisões com janelas de residências ou com veículos. No Setor de Atendimento a Animais Selvagens (SAAS) da Universidade Estadual do Centro-oeste é oferecido, principalmente, serviços de reabilitação e reintrodução à natureza para animais que venham ser afetados, diretamente ou indiretamente, por interferências humanas. No presente trabalho é relatado o caso clínico de um filhote de Caracara plancus atendido no SAAS apresentando fraturas em epífise distal de fêmur direito, epífise proximal de tibiotarso direito, epífise distal de úmero direito e epífise distal de úmero esquerdo. O animal foi tratado com uma associação de medicação homeopática (Calendula officinalis e Shymphytum officinale) e alopatia, reabilitado com técnicas de falcoaria e reintroduzido à vida-livre pela equipe veterinária do SAAS após nove meses de internamento e reabilitação.

Abstract:
Comparing with all wild animals, the birds are the ones who have bigger contact with humans. This human contact become at most due to urban growth and reduction of birds natural habitat implying that they are often found injured by collisions with house windows or vehicles. At SAAS, Setor de Atendimento a Animais Selvagens (Wild Animal Care Sector) of UNICENTRO, Universidade Estadual do centro-oeste (Midwestern State University) are offered, mainly, rehabilitation and reintroduction to nature to animals who are affected, directly or indirectly, by human interference. The work presented here is a report of clinical case of Caracara plancus assisted at SAAS with fractures in the distal epiphysis of the rigth femur, proximal epiphysis of the rigth tibiotarsus, distal epiphysis of the rigth humerus and distal epiphysis of the left humerus. The animal was treated with an association of homeopathic medication (Calendula officinalis e Shymphytum officinale) and allopathy, rehabilitated with falconry techniques and reintroduced to free l ife by the veterinary team of SAAS after nine months of hospitalization.
