• Abstract: The Giant´s Igarapé runs through the Planalto and Redenção neighborhoods and is located in the Midwest of Manaus-AM, specifically in the Garden of Versailles section. This stretch is the focus of study for the development of a project that could contribute to the revitalization of this watercourse, which is partly within the urban fabric, receiving residential sewage, and, because these connections are connected to the Igarapé, passing through makeshift homes on its banks, causes constant pollution of its course. By means of a photographic survey, interviews and a research brochure, physical information was obtained on the pollution of the watercourse. In addition, a comparison was made with two other streams in the capital, in relation to the pollution of the sources of the Igarapé within the urban fabric and the final course.
