TRATAMENTO DO CÂNCER DE MAMA EM PESSOAS DO SEXO MASCULINO
O câncer de mama é o segundo tipo de neoplasia mais comum entre mulheres. Em homens é mais raro, porém acontece com certa frequência. Esta patologia é formada por inúmeras manifestações clínicas provenientes de alterações morfológicas e genéticas, sendo frequentemente tratada por diversas terapêuticas. Outro ponto a ser destacado, é a importância que o farmacêutico (a) tem na disponibilização de informações de forma ágil e precisa para pacientes e profissionais envolvidos, bem como a interpretação dos efeitos obtidos pelo uso de fármacos antineoplásicos. O objetivo geral deste trabalho foi abordar a atenção farmacêutica no diagnóstico e tratamento do câncer de mama no sexo masculino. A metodologia de elaboração fundamentou-se na revisão bibliográfica de artigos científicos e livros, com um levantamento bibliográfico e documental. Para realização deste trabalho foram utilizados livros físicos, e também a Biblioteca Virtual Pearson do Google Books, bem como artigos científicos, publicações em revistas científicas da área da saúde, cadernos de saúde pública e dissertações das bases Scientific Electronic Library Online - Scielo, Pubmed, Lilacs, Google acadêmico e da Biblioteca virtual em Saúde - BVS entre os anos de 2000 a 2019.

Abstract:
Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women. In men it is rarer, but it happens with some frequency. This pathology is formed by innumerable clinical manifestations resulting from morphological and genetic alterations, being frequently treated by several therapies. Another point to be highlighted is the importance that the pharmacist (a) has in providing information in an agile and precise way for patients and professionals involved, as well as the interpretation of the effects obtained by the use of antineoplastic drugs. The general objective of this work was to address pharmaceutical care in the diagnosis and treatment of male breast cancer. The elaboration methodology was based on the bibliographic review of scientific articles and books, with a bibliographic and documentary survey. In order to carry out this work, physical books were used, as well as the Pearson Virtual Library of Google Books, as well as scientific articles, publications in scientific journals in the health area, public health notebooks and dissertations from the Scientific Electronic Library Online bases – Scielo, Pubmed, Lilacs, Google Scholar and the Virtual Health Library - VHL between the years 2000 to 2019.
