Abstract: The objective of the research was to present the profile of workers in transplant programs and the factors that contribute to organ failure. Method: exploratory and descriptive research, carried out between two public universities, from March 2020 to May 2023 using an online form. The data was analyzed by descriptive frequency. Results: The sample of (173) workers, the majority (142) women; (110) white; (96) nursing, (32) social workers. The lack of organs for (46%) is the population's lack of knowledge about the diagnosis of BD. Conclusion: The social worker's work in this program is dynamic and committed to the population using health services.
