TRANSIÇÃO DOS RANKINGS NOS 100 METROS RASOS NAS DIFERENTES CATEGORIAS DO ATLETISMO BRASILEIRO: UMA DÉCADA DE ANÁLISE
A prova de 100 metros rasos se define como a prova mais rápida do atletismo e tem se destacado nos últimos anos pelos avanços em relação à evolução das marcas em diferentes categorias, sendo então alvo de análise desde a base até a alta performance. Objetivo: analisar a transição dos rankings em ambos os sexos e categorias nas provas de 100 metros rasos ao longo de 10 anos. Método: trata-se de uma pesquisa do tipo descritiva, com dados quantitativos e com recurso retrospectivo a bases de dados existentes. O trabalho documental constituiu-se através dos rankings nacionais brasileiros no período de 2007 a 2016 na prova de 100 metros rasos. Os dados foram coletados a partir do site da Confederação Brasileira de Atletismo. Após as recolhas dos dados, estes foram organizados no programa Stata versão 14, no intuito de ilustrar o cálculo da média e desvio padrão dos dez melhores tempos em cada categoria. Resultados: Os resultados obtidos no decorrer dos anos apresentaram melhoras em ambos os sexos, tanto de forma individual como de forma coletiva (top10). O sexo masculino demonstrou melhora mais evidente em relação ao sexo feminino tanto de forma coletiva quanto individualizada. O sexo feminino permaneceu por mais tempo na liderança dos rankings, bem como na transição de uma categoria para outra, em que a duração na liderança representou de 2 a 6 anos consecutivos. Conclusão: Estes resultados contribuem para um melhor entendimento da evolução dos atletas desde a categoria de base até a fase adulta, visto observou-se uma melhora de marcas nas transições de categoria de forma individual e coletiva tanto no masculino quanto no feminino. Atletas do sexo feminino tendem a se manter mais tempo na liderança, porém tem menores médias de melhoras dos resultados nas transições entre categorias.

Abstract:
The 100 meters is defined as the fastest proof of athletics and has been highlighted in recent years by advances in the evolution of brands in different categoriesand is then the target of analysis from the base to the high performance. Objective: To analyze the transition of the ranks of the 100 meters race in both sexes and different categories of Brazilian athletics, in order to verify the occurrence of regressions, advances or stagnation of results over a decade of analysis. Method: This is a descriptive research, The documentary work was constituted through the Brazilian national rankings from 2007 to 2016 in the 100 meters race. Data were collected from the Brazilian Athletics Confederation website. After data collection, they were organized in the program Stata version 14, in order to illustrate the calculation of the mean and standard deviation of the ten best times in each category. Results: The results obtained over the years showed improvement in both sexes, both individually and collectively (top10). Males showed more evident improvement in relation to females, both collectively and individually. Females remained longer in the rankings leadership, as well as in the transition from one category to another, in which the leadership duration represented 2 to 6 consecutive years. Conclusion: These results contribute to a better understanding of the athletes evolution from the base category to the adult phase, since there was an improvement of marks in the individual and collective category transitions in both men and women.Female athletes tend to stay longer in leadership, but have lower averages of improved outcomes in transitions between categories.
