TRABALHO E EDUCAÇÃO DE JOVENS DO CAMPO NO MUNICÍPIO DE PALMEIRA/PR
Esta pesquisa apresenta resultados
sobre o trabalho e a educação do jovem da
agricultura familiar do município de Palmeira no
estado do Paraná, com foco nas suas condições
de vida. A problemática que orientou esse
estudo é: Como está configurado o trabalho e
a educação do jovem da agricultura familiar do
município de Palmeira? Por meio da pesquisa
bibliográfica, analisaram-se as produções
referentes à situação do jovem do campo
e, também, pesquisa de campo, utilizando
questionários com jovens da agricultura familiar
de uma escola estadual localizada no campo
no município de Palmeira, os quais abordaram
questões sobre o perfil socioeconômico dos
jovens do campo, as condições de vida no
campo, o trabalho e a educação. Para os
sujeitos da pesquisa, o trabalho na agricultura
familiar não está garantindo as condições para
manter a produção da vida de toda família,
visto que há muitas dificuldades para manter
a propriedade e, a produção contribui para a
saída dos jovens do campo. Quanto à educação
ofertada a esses jovens, constatou-se a
ausência de escola pública nas comunidades
e pouco acesso a um conhecimento que
possibilite estabelecer relações com o processo
de trabalho na agricultura familiar. Embora os
jovens trabalhem na produção, a renda não é
distribuída, ficando sob o domínio do pai, isto é,
do regime patriarcal.

Abstract:
This research presents results
about the work and education of young people
from family farming in the city of Palmeira in
the state of Paraná, focusing on their living
conditions. The problem that guided this study
is: How is the work and education of young
people from family farming in the county of
Palmeira? Through bibliographic research, we analyzed the productions related to the
situation of the youth of the countryside and also field research, using questionnaires
with young people from family farming of a state school located in the countryside in
the city of Palmeira, which tackled questions about the socioeconomic profile of rural
youth, rural living conditions, work and education. For the research subjects, work in
family farming is not guaranteeing the conditions to maintain the production of the
life of the whole family, since there are many difficulties to maintain the property, and
production contributes to the removal of young people from the countryside. As for the
education offered to these youngsters, it was found the absence of public schools in the
communities and few access to knowledge that allows establishing relationships with
the work process in family farming. Although young people work in production, income
is not distributed, but is under the control of the father, that is, the patriarchal regime
