Trabalho com Sentido e Contexto Laboral de Assistentes Sociais Brasileiros(as)
Pretendeu-se analisar o sentido atribuído ao trabalho e o contexto laboral de Assistentes Sociais. O percurso metodológico traduz o estudo com uma pesquisa aplicada, transversal, survey, cuja abordagem do problema é quantitativa. Os participantes foram os(as) Assistentes Sociais inscritos no Congresso Brasileiro de Assistentes Sociais, que ocorreu em novembro de 2019, em Brasília – DF e outros acessados por meio digital. Os instrumentos de coleta de dados foram a Escala do Trabalho com Sentido-ETS, a Escala de Avaliação do Contexto do Trabalho-EACT, instrumentos validados no Brasil, e um Questionário sóciodemográfico e profissional. Quanto aos principais resultados, encontrou-se que o contexto de trabalho dos(as) Assistentes Sociais participantes apresenta risco crítico, uma situação-limite de potencialização do mal-estar no trabalho e possibilidade evidente de adoecimento. Apesar disto, lhes são perceptíveis o propósito, a direção e a finalidade de seu trabalho, isto é, avaliam positivamente as características de seu fazer e encontram sentido tanto para si, quanto para o(s) outro(s) no trabalho que realizam.

Abstract:
The objective was to analyze the meaning attributed to work and the work context of Social Workers. The methodological path translates the study with an applied, transversal research, survey, whose approach to the problem is quantitative. The participants were the Social Assistants registered at the Brazilian Congress of Social Assistants, which took place in November 2019, in Brasília - DF and others accessed by digital means. The data collection instruments were the Meaningful Work Scale-ETS, the Work Context Assessment Scale-EACT, instruments validated in Brazil, and a socio-demographic and professional questionnaire. As for the main results, it was found that the working context of the participating Social Workers presents a critical risk, a limit situation of potentiation of malaise at work and an evident possibility of illness. Despite this, they perceive the purpose, direction and finality of their work, that is, they positively evaluate the characteristics of their work and find meaning both for themselves and for the other (s) in the work they perform.
