TRABALHANDO EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL SOB A PERSPECTIVA DE UM JARDIM SUSPENSO EM ESCOLA DA ZONA RURAL DE PERNAMBUCO
É cada vez mais cognoscível a
premência de uma educação de qualidade
que viabilize uma formação completa do
indivíduo. Para direcionarem-se nesse
percurso, os professores devem se atribuir de
novas metodologias de ensino cuja ênfase na
interdisciplinaridade é um elemento essencial
para a contextualização geral dos conteúdos
apresentados. Sem a interação entre as áreas de
conhecimento, o conteúdo explanado torna-se
limitado, restringindo as estratégias do docente
a mais pura frustração. Pensar educação de
qualidade é criar mecanismos que senhoreiem
os percalços encontrados atualmente e faça
com que as possibilidades de aprendizagem
excedam o limite da sala de aula, integrando
o âmbito escolar ao sujeito e cooperando para
que ele se torne um membro ativo e capaz de
realizar mudanças na sociedade. O presente
trabalho, levando em conta que as questões
ambientais têm ganhado destaque nas
últimas décadas, tem como finalidade buscar
a integração de artes e ciências, permitindo
que o aluno desenvolva senso crítico sobre
problemas ambientais e reutilização do que ele
compreendeu até então como “lixo”. Ademais,
perpassa a falsa ideia de conscientização
ambiental postulada nos colégios, e propõe,
nesse sentido, estimular a criatividade, o trabalho
em grupo e a ornamentação da instituição de
ensino que, visando promover mudanças de
valores por meio da educação ambiental, utilizase
da participação dos estudantes da zona rural
do município de Passira – PE, e colaboradores
do Programa Integrado Pesquisa Ensino e
Extensão – PIPEx, da UFPE, para fazer deste,
um exemplo de mudanças.

Abstract:
It is increasingly knowable the
urgency of a quality education that enables
a complete formation of the individual. In
order to be guided in this way, the teachers
must be attributed of new methodologies of
teaching whose emphasis in interdisciplinarity
is an essential element for the general
contextualization of the presented contents.
Without the interaction between the areas of
knowledge, the content explained becomes
limited, restricting the teacher’s strategies the
sheer frustration. To think of quality education is

to create mechanisms that lend the current mishaps and make the learning possibilities
exceed the limit of the classroom, integrating the school scope to the subject and
cooperating so that it becomes an active member and able to make changes in
society. The present work, taking into account that environmental issues have gained
prominence in the last decades, aims to seek the integration of arts and sciences,
allowing the student to develop a critical sense about environmental problems and
reuse of what he understood until then as “ “. In addition, it goes through the false idea
of environmental awareness postulated in colleges, and proposes, in this sense, to
stimulate creativity, group work and the ornamentation of the educational institution
that, in order to promote changes of values through environmental education, is used
the participation of students from the rural area of the municipality of Passira - PE, and
collaborators of the Integrated Program of Education and Extension - PIPEx, UFPE, to
make this an example of changes.
