Abstract: Introduction: Food toxicity is of great relevance to the pharmaceutical area, as it covers correlations associated with consumers and indirectly on inspection issues that must be addressed based on the analysis of cereal and soy consumption, thus adapting the pharmacist's intervention in the face of food toxicity. caused by the fungus identified above. Goals: The main goal was to identify and understand the food toxicity caused by A. flavus found in soybeans and cereals. Method: This is an integrative review of the literature developing an exploratory bibliographic study on the consequences of food toxicity caused by A. flavus found in cereals and soybeans. Results and Discussion: A search was carried out in the chosen databases, thus 117 articles were included for selection in the identification, after the eligibility criteria, 8 articles were selected to be used in the construction of the review. After careful analysis of the selected articles, discussions were held, thus observing theoretical knowledge and the similarities of their conclusions.Conclusion: The stated objective was achieved, to investigate the effects of food toxicity caused by the fungus A. flavus, found in soybeans and cereals, according to the health of its consumers and to identify the toxic compounds produced by the fungus mentioned, where it was also important to understand the mechanisms of contamination, but it is highlighted that research on the topic addressed still needs to be expanded
