Abstract: This study addresses the development and control of drones with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, as well as the challenges posed by small-scale systems such as microdrones. The mechanical structure embedded electronic systems, and the application of PID control for flight stabilization are presented, highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of the research. Technical issues, including propeller imbalance, brushless motors, and sensor calibration difficulties, revealed the inherent complexity of smaller aircraft, requiring engineering solutions and continuous adjustments. The proposed PID control proved effective in compensating for external disturbances, ensuring stability during experimental tests. The results confirmed the successful integration of hardware and software and the accuracy of flight commands. Finally, the importance of incorporating Artificial Intelligence techniques to enhance the performance of smaller drones is discussed, enabling adaptive adjustments in flight control and autonomous navigation. Thus, this study contributes to advancing increasingly intelligent, lightweight aerial platforms capable of operating in space-constrained environments, culminating in final considerations and proposals for future work.
