TIRINHAS: LEITURA, INTERPRETAÇÃO E COMPREENSÃO, SEGUNDO O MODELO PRAGMÁTICO
O contexto influencia o processo
interpretativo? Este artigo surgiu a partir dessa
problemática e, para investigá-la, estabelecemos
como objetivo principal analisar o modo como a
leitura é realizada pelo leitor, observando que
fatores são determinantes para a interpretação
e compreensão de tirinhas, tendo por base
a perspectiva pragmática. Almejamos com
isso: (1) verificar como a leitura é realizada;
(2) especificar que fatores contextuais são
decisivos para a interpretação e compreensão
do texto e (3) discutir a proposta de Marcelo
Dascal (2006, capítulos 4, 9 e 25) consoante
à influência do contexto, de acordo com seu
modelo de interpretação e compreensão. Para
tanto, selecionamos três tirinhas que abordam
diversas temáticas, buscando a comprovação
da hipótese de que se faz necessário valorizar
o significado semântico e as intenções do
autor/falante. Assim, o leitor/ouvinte envolvese em uma atividade bastante complexa de
preenchimento dos vazios do texto, de acordo
com suas vivências e experiências leitoras
anteriores.

Abstract:
Does the context influence the
interpretive process? This article arose from
this problematic and, to investigate it, we set as
main objective to analyze the way in which the
reading is carried out by the reader, noting that
factors are determinant for the interpretation
and comprehension of strips, based on the
pragmatic perspective. We aim for this: (1)
to check how the reading is performed; (2) to
specify which contextual factors are decisive
for the interpretation and understanding of the
text and (3) to discuss the proposal of Marcelo
Dascal (2006, chapters 4, 9 and 25) according
to the influence of the context, according to his
model of interpretation and understanding. To
do so, we selected three comic strips that deal with several themes, seeking to prove the hypothesis that it is necessary to value
the semantic meaning and intentions of the author/speaker. Thus, the reader/listener
engages in a rather complex activity of filling the voids of the text, according to their
experiences and previous experiences.
